  Encore CS4 Authoring for Music Video DVD. Additional Songs section

  I am authoring a dvd for my senior project through Encore CS4.

  In the bonus features sections, I a sub-menu called ADDITIONAL SONGS where the user can select three songs to listen to or play all..

  Right now, I have the three songs on a timeline with three chapter marks so it looks like this.

  PLAY ALL plays entire timeline.
  Song 1 plays (chap 1)
  Song 2 plays (chap 2)
  Song 3 plays (chap 3)

  The user can control which song they are listening to using the remote PREVIOUS and NEXT function to advance to the next song. They can also use the PAUSE function on the remote to pause the song.

  at the same time, i want there to be a MENU on the screen while the song is playing with buttons for navigation. “BACK” “PREVIOUS” “NEXT” “MAIN”.

  POP-UP menus will only work for Blu-Ray projects so I cannot use this feature.

  I tried to use After Effects and created an ENCORE button, but it is not clickable when I preview the project. One of the professors told me that i can use SUBPICTURES to create a navigation menu on a video timeline. I don’t know how to do this. Tried to google search but found nothing. Can anyone provide a simple solution given the problem described above?

  Must have the elements described.
  -user must be able to control the song via remote
  -user must be able to advance song using on screen navigation

  any help is appreciated.
