    Encore crashes on startup

    I cam here from the Premiere forum – Encore is crashing on startup after I installed it,when it tries to load Opacity.AEX

    Is this a memory issue?
    Is Encore more of a memory hog than Premiere?

    Dell XPS Gen5 3.2Ghz with 3Gb RAM using Windows XP Pro

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    3GB of RAM is plenty. I don’t believe that is your problem.

    I don’t know what to suggest other than uninstalling and reinstalling.
