When I select Build DVD, an error window pops up with the Build DVD window.

When I click Build DVD an error window pops up along with the Build DVD window. The error says, “No Devices were found. Please check the drive’s connections and try again.”

The funny thing is, I have two burners hooked up, both of which function fine with other software such as Nero for burning and read discs with no problems.

The first drive is an internal Pioneer DVR-A04
The second drive is an external LG GSA-E10L with LightScribe

I’m running Encore v2.0 as part of the Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio Premium

My OS is Windows XP Professional x64 edition

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, unhooking one drive at a time, and kicking the side of the computer… I’ve searched the web and found no solutions.

    PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

may be this is your problem…

solution – “build dvd-video folder” with encore, then burn with ImgBurn software

Encore comes with it’s own drivers and doesn’t support windows 64bit os. I ended up going back to 32bit xp. Then I came across this registry fix that apparently it works for windows 64. I have not yet gone back to 64 since I haven’t had the time to reload a whole system all over again. Hope this helps and good luck. Step by step instruction’s from Adobe themselves.

I hope you are still monitoring this, but I have the same problem with a new Wind 64 machine and Encore 2.

Did the registry hack and re-install of adobe encore solve the problem?
