• Adobe Encore DVD

  Encore cannot find destination DVD device in order to build DVD

  I successfully created a DVD using Adobe Encore. However, once I tried to build the DVD, the message came up that Adobe could not find the destination DVD device.

  A) I downloaded a file from Adobe to give me the rights to be able to burn a DVD (even though I already have administrator rights) just to be on the safe side…no go.

  B) I uninstalled Nero, which I expected which may have been interfering with Adobe’s ability to recognize the drive…did not work.

  C) I tried burning an image onto my computer so I could put it on a DVD some way but for some reason it did not work.

  Questions:
  1) Regarding #3, would creating an image and then burning onto a DVD using ImgBurn be able to create a DVD workable straight in a commercial DVD player?

  2) Do you guys have any idea on what I can do to fix the problem?
