ENCORE BUTTONS -Fault in design
Hey,
Having trouble with my photoshop/ encore button design.
basically i have text where i want a opaic brush mark to appear behind the text when its highlights.
when i test in encore, it appears either as a solid object in-front of my text, of an opaic blocky figure.I must be doing something wrong somewhere along the line.
Please help!

Button highlights never get rendered into the background, and always appear over everything else.
You can make the highlight appear as if it is behind your text by cutting it out where the text shows through. Also, highlights are 2 bit graphics, which means the pixels are either full on, or full off… no possibility for anti-aliasing and smooth edges. Just something to keep in mind when erasing parts of the highlight where the text is.
