I open a project created in 2.0 in 2.0, and I get this message:

There was a problem reading the Photoshop file. $$$/Err/Sport/File/Exceptions/MiscDisk=A file system error has occurred.

Thanks for the very clear information Adobe.

Now my project will not open.

I should have stayed in bed this morning, i would have been just as productive!

    Any ideas?

    Mike

PS – Think i will take the menus and rebuild the project in 1.5, a much more stable version of the software.
    how is CS3 working out?

The first thing I would do is run chkdsk on all of your drives to see if this or any other file system errors show up.

Have you moved or otherwise “disconnected” the project folder from its original location or from the project file? Are any of your assets stored on a network, removable media or external drive?

PS – CS3 is working well for me (and for most folks), but some users are reporting that they think 2.0 was more stable. FWIW.

I did copy the project files from one drive to another with more free space before initially opening and modifying the project.

I went back to 1.5 and finished the project with no hiccups, and I have made projects from scratch in 2.0 without problems.

Oh well, thanks for the feedback.
