I am looking to serve my video files with multiple bit rates for users with different bandwidth levels. I know that I will need two different MP4 files each with different bit rates. My question is how do I get these two different files. Of course i can render two individually, but that takes twice the time. Is there a way to render it once and have two (or more) files exported when the render is complete? Thanks for the help.

    Hi Cesar,

It doesn’t work that way. It would be nice. When your file encodes, it encodes given the parameters you set for the render.

Now, VASST has a few tools that will allow you to batch render (set up the renders on the front end and have it to render out back to back without your intervention). This is great for those hours you must sleep 🙂 You can get the Production Assistant or Ultimate S Pro. I also think that JetDV’s Excalibur has a batch function to it as well.

Hopefully this gives you a great working alternative.
