    encoding for faster viewing

    I’ve been uploading vids (private forum) but with complaints of video being slow to load. I use Vegas Pro 8, and render as MP4, sort of new to this so any help on frame rate, field order and custom settings will be appreciated.

    You can use mp4 at lower bitrates, frame sizes.
    If its just fun and not critical, upload vid at 320 at 1.5Mbps

    Not sure if I have to download the studio or just the camtasia codec but I’ll figure it out. Do appreciate your help.

    The camtasia codec isn’t gonna help you save space/download over mp4, and it will require anyone playing it back to have that codec whereas the mp4 container you’re using from Vegas will play on any machine that has QT installed.
