Encoder is exporting 12 streams of audio into just 2 tracks.
Hi all. I have a project with 12 tracks of audio that appears to be mixing down into two tracks.
On export, I have twelve streams of audio each mapped to a separate track from the sequence and the export marked ‘discrete’ but they are still mixing into just two mono tracks.
Is this a Sequence setting?The note I’m getting from the network is “The good news is that we’re seeing 12 channels of audio but the bad news is that they are all on a single audio steam instead of 12 discreet mono audio streams.”
Below are notes from Failed test (from the Network we are delivering to):
CH1 = Mono mix (should be SFM L per slate)
CH2 = Mono mix (should be SFM R per slate)
CH3 = MOS (should be M&E L per slate)
CH4 = MOS (should be M&E R per slate)
CH5 = MOS (should be Dialogue per slate)
CH6 = MOS (should be FX/SOT L per slate)
CH7 = MOS (should be FX/SOT R per slate)
CH8 = MOS (should be MED L per slate)
CH9 = MOS (should be MED R per slate)
CH10 = MOS (should be Music L per slate)
CH11 = MOS (should be Music R per slate)
CH12 = MOS (should be Narration per slate)
-Audio mix is poor (narration and some dialogue is drowned out by music – likely because all stems are being summed in mono mix)
-Audio levels are above spec, peaking -0.0 dBFS with digital clipping
