Enabling floating-point in DirectX plug-ins
Hi,
I am writing a plug-in the old-way, i.e. with DirectX (instead of OFX).
Everything is working almost fine except that my plug-in appears in the video effects list with the symbol showing that it does not allow floating-point pixels, and indeed, all the processing I wrote handles BYTE-based RGB colors only.
Would you know what is the flag to set, to enable the handling floating-point colors? I mean, in such a way that the plug-in is recognized as being able to handle floating-point colors?
I managed to enable the multithreading with the SFVIDEOPLUGIN_CAPS_CLONEABLE flag, I have read the whole SDK documentation, but could not find any information regarding floating-point handling.
Help will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
