I’m playing with the particle illusion 3 demo to check if its capable of our needs-
atm I’m wondering if the libraries you release each month are not supported to use in the demo-
I downloaded the 56 mb and get a “file damaged message” from PI when I try to open one of the il3 files…
I’m on windows xp pro …did I overlook sth.?
Thanks for any help in advance!

…after playing a bit I got two more questions:
    1. I have problems to draw blockers with round shapes- r-clicking “curved”
seems not to affect the point-interpolation of the blocker…
Masking seems not to be part of the manual index- so I guess the blockers
are the most suitable option to mask parts of the screen!?
    2. Is it possible to feather the blockers-borders?

If it’s the latest demo (the 30 day one), it should open all libraries. Could it be that the zip file was cut off during download?

Blockers can only be straight, and cannot be feathered. They really are best suited for really simple situations. If you need to do advanced masking, you’ll need to use a compositing or editing program.

    Thanks for reply!
I’ll download them again and see what happens.

It seems the zip file was damaged…the additional libraries work now! Thanks!
