    *emergency* Veg file won’t open…freezes Vegas

    I have a veg file that won’t open. Worked on it last night, saved, trying to open it today and Vegas freezes. This is saved on an external USB drive. Last night I was at home with the laptop, today at work on a desktop, of course with the same drive. I need to render this out for my boss by end of the day but I can’t get the file open. Other veg files are fine. Ideas please!

    XP
    2gig ram
    3GH Pentium
    Maxtor 250GB USB drive

    Have you tried the .veg.back (backup) file? Rename it to .veg first.

    Thanks Gary. I’ve never had to use a .bak file before so it didn’t even enter my mind. Seems to work now!
