    Hello All,
We received P2 raw files that have the following folders Audio/Clip/Icon/Voice and the LAST clip.txt for some reason I’m missing the Video and Proxy folder.
Does this mean that we cannot import the clips into Final Cut? (There are XML’s in the clip folder) any way to salvage the footage.
    Sincerely,
    Arjun

If there’s no “video” folder, then yeah, you’re hosed.

You should have six directories. The video clips are stored in the VIDEO folder. If you don’t have the contents of that folder, you don’t have the clips.

    Dear Barry,
Thank you. I figured. For some reason all the folders made it across in the copy except for the Video and Proxy folder. I have the audio files. Is there a way to import just the audio so we know what we are missing.
    Sincerely,
    Arjun

On a Windows system you could use Raylight to convert the MXF audio files into .WAV audio files.

I don’t know if the Mac offers similar functionality; hopefully someone will chime in and let us know.

Possibly with P2CMS or Raylight Mac but yeah with the video you’re done.
