I have been having very long renders on FCP6 clips sent to Motion for FX then rendered in FCP6. The 2 sequences tested were DV NTSC and DVCPRO HD 108060.
On the suggestion of a poster in the FCP forum, I created an uncompressed 8 bit seq and used the DV NTSC clips.POSSIBLE BREAK THOUGH!. The embedded Motion 3 file in FCP6
rendered very fast. Im not sure how this help folks that need to output in other formats, but its a start to figuring out what is going on with the excessive renders!

Your not using a Kona Card are you? I switched some settings on mine and got better render times although it was still slower that before.

There is no Kona or any card present in my system. Its for training purposes only.
