embedded AAF’s in FCP
Posted by Trevor Ambrose on January 14, 2011 at 9:42 pmHi guys,
I’m trying to export sound files in an embedded AAF sequence but it’s not obvious to me how I can select this. Can you only do embedded OMF sequences in FCP?
Thanks,

January 14, 2011 at 9:47 pmYes OMF only. Most people would complain if they had to spend an extra $500 on FCP just to license AAF. You can purchase thrid party software like Automatic Duck to do this.

Have a good one,

January 15, 2011 at 3:15 pmIf I remember correctly, STP can export AAFs.
I had to do it once in a pinch and I don’t remember having problems.

January 20, 2011 at 3:51 amThanks again Jeremy. This is one of my favorite sites on the internet but just a thought….
Is there any chance of getting the Canadian flag on the the header for the site?
Just an idea eh…. 😉

So you’re saying the Cow needs a translation to Canadian English (or French)?
Would that mean it would be the same as all the English posts now, but that every sentence then end in, “eh”?
🙂
