Eliminate see thru of top dissolve of two stacked clips
Premiere CS4
I have an animation project with stacked clips (a face on top of eyeballs). When I dissolve the clips, you see through the top clip (the face)and see the entire bottom clip which is the eyeball track. It looks awful. Is there any way to have them dissolve as though they were one?James W. Hawk – filmmaker/auteur

Create a mask object for the eye holes and link it to the lower layer using the Track Matte Key effect.
