Element 3D layer order problem
Hello!
I have two layers with Element 3D plugin with two devices.
The problem here is that Element is always putting the layer that is above (in the layer panel) in front of the other one. It is not considering the 3D space in the composition.Not sure if I was clear, but check this image: https://cl.ly/image/0R2P0i2M3S2c
As you guys can see, on the front camera, the blue iPhone is on top, but in the left camera, it’s not.
This happens because the blue iPhone is above the Red one in the layer panel.Summarising, AE is not considering the 3D space, but the layer order.
Any solution for that?I cant just change the layer order because I will have to switch devices’ order many times during my animation.

Why not put both devices in different groups?

How can I do that? I’ve never used groups in Element 3D.
I’m using two layers (one for each device) and I put the screen of the device as a Custom Layer > Custom texture map.Thanks.

Import both of your objects into one E3D effect and set one to group 1 and one to group 2.
Video Copilot has a dedicated training section for Element on their website that covers all of that.
