I’m a semi-newbie (great name for a band, BTW) and trying to animate an elastic connection between two objects … one is stationary and the other is moving. Think: gum at the bottom of a shoe and stuck to the ground. This isn’t exactly what I’m trying to do, but it at least gives you a visual of my intention.

So far, my elastic material is a HyperNurb and formed the way I want it to be when it’s at rest. What’s the best way to do this?

Thanks for your time and assistance in advance!

    Nic

Bones/Dynamics? Clothhilde? Catus Dan’s new plugins? Best? Well it depends…

Could also be done with the Hair module’s spline dynamics or (probably) Clothilde.
