Effect won’t display in canvas
I added the wide screen effect to a clip then I changed the color of the top and bottom black strips to red but when I play it back, it is still black. The way I added the effect is, I loaded the clip in the viewer and dragged the effect to it. Then I clicked on the filter tab and changed the color of the strips from black to red. Does anyone have any idea why this is not working for me? Thanks.

Have you rendered the selected clip after applying the clip? Do you have your RT set as safe or unlimited? I’ve had same random problems when I didn’t one or the other.
