Effect name “grid” in AE7?
Hi,
I just wanted to learn with a tutorial made using AE6, which uses expressions for “width” with the effect “grid”. I am using AE7 pro. The expressions are disabled, as there is no more effect “grid” (at least in my German version). Any idea how this particular effect is named now?Juergen

AS far as I know it is still called grid. I believe it is located in the generate category. I say I believe, as I access my filter using the effects and presets window….try opening this window and doing a search for Grid.

It should be “Gitter” or “Gitterlinien” in the “Erzeugen” category (or is it called “Generieren”?; sorry, haven’t used German AE in ages).
