    Effect in new Everlast video clip – how was it done?

    Hi Everybody,

    Please, have a look at the new video clip of Everlast “stone in my hand”.
    In this clip, we see several times the FX, that copy of Everlast himself is glitching out of his own body, in a scaled up version. Popping out in only a frame or two. The background stays uninfluenced.

    Any idea how this was done, or how this could be replicated in AE?

    In a 3 minute video you should specify when it happens like (1:51 or something like that)

    Without seeing it though I can with 99.9999999% certainty his body and/or face was rotoscoped out for the frames in question and then composited for the desired effect.

    Sorry, yes. I should have mentioned that. E.g. At 2mib05sec. The rotoscoping part I thought so as well.
    But how you thought they achieved the actual effect itself?
