Effect failed to render
Running FCS2 on a brand new 8 core MacPro.
Some of the filters show up as FxPlugs yet when I try to apply them I get the error: “The effect…failed to render”. All non FxPlug filters seem to work fine.
Video processing is set to 8 bit YUV.
Any ideas?

This EFFECT FIALED TO RENDER red screen just showed up recently on my two intel FCS machines. We were using several Fx Plug filters up until, say, two or three weeks ago. one of my favorites is PRISM.
I have no idea what’s going on, sorry no one ever got back to you. Guess no one else has a clue, either. Spooky.
