Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy EDL question

  • Posted by Roli Rivelino on January 28, 2011 at 9:51 am

I’m cutting a multi format project, from EX to, 35mm to mini dv through to Digi beta.

At the end I’m going to produce an EDL for it to be blown up to 35mm, as I’ve never done this before I’m wondering; do I have to keep the tapes to give over along with the EDL or is a copy of the media folder within the capture scratch enough?

And are there any other things I should keep an eye on as far as producing an EDL is concerned?

    Many thanks.

If you plan on going to film…you need to consult with the company that will be doing the film output. Only then can tell you exactly what they need from you. THe rest of us are blind, and will give you bad advice on that front.
