    Hi

Have an EDL from AVID (yeah… I know…:) which actually imports quite fine, excepts from the clip-names being wrong.

The EDL has all the right names and in- and outpoints, and a line from it looks like this:

    001 A001_C014_080726 V C 18:13:04:02 18:13:17:04 01:00:00:00 01:00:13:02

Problem is that the files come in with the name V only, and I need the full name to match the files.

NOW, these are short sequences and can be matched manually, but what goes wrong here?

    Cheers!

    Gunleik

“A001_C014_080726 “ As this is the reel number you should find it under the Reel column in the browser, not as the clipname.

    Yes, found it

It was trunctated, though – so I had to manually copy in the correct filenames.

    Worked in the end…
