Editor switching from Avid/FCP to GVG News Edit/Aurora
Hello,
I learned to edit on tape. Then I worked on Avid MC (4yrs) and FCP (8yrs). Is GVG News Edit/Aurora similar to Avid? Are there any resources I could tap into like keyboards or documents that would help me transition to GVG?

When you went from linear land to NLE then from Avid to FCP, you were intimidated a bit. Then you found there was no reason to be. Same thing here. You’ll open it, click around and find everything pretty much does what you thought. I don’t know of any online tutorials for it but you’ll be fine. Hop in and enjoy.
