    Hi,
I’m editing a sequence from a two-camera shoot using two very different kinds of cameras – a Sony Ex-1 with widescreen footage (that I believe is also HD) and a Panasonic DVX-100 with non-widescreen footage. It’s the first time I’ve done something like this, and I’m having all sorts of problems blending the two formats. Right now, when I try to create a sequence with both of them, I’m getting an image that looks squeezed. Is there any way I can create a Final Cut sequence where that ‘squeezed’ effect won’t happen, where both types of video will look good?

FYI – In the past I’ve just used by own DVX-100 camera, but in this case I wanted a second camera and could only find a videographer with this Sony Ex-1 camera. Because of that I may have already created an impossible situation here, by using such different types of cameras. But like I said is there any way to deal with both types of this video?

I would greatly appreciate any advice!

    Thank you,
    Neil
