Editing still frames
well this is something new to me: i have a lot (2000+) of still frames i need to glue together to make one video. I dragged all the jpg images (already in chronological order) onto the track but for some reason, every alternate still is accompanied by a space i.e. since each image is 0.033s (at 30fps), my video is interrupted every 2 frames by a blank.
IN SHORT: How can i load my pictures without them being spaced apart?

I have had a similar experience when I drag and drop from a source other than the vegas explorer. When I use Vegas Explorer that never seems to happen.
You probably know this already but in the preferences under edit you can type the still image length you want as you drop images on the timeline, type the number of seconds you’d like the photos to be displayed in your movie.

I believe you can click on the first still and open as frame sequence and each still will be one frame. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

I have 120 targa still in a folder named 0001 – 0120. I click open in Vegas, select still 0001 and at the bottom, check :Open still image sequence. It brings all in as one video. Danny Hays

Anyhow, when you are working with over 2000 pictures, I would advise you to use a tool like Excalibur or Ultimate S. With just a mouseclick you change anything in all your pictures. saves you hours and hours of boaring work
(Excalibur and Ultimate S are scripts for Vegas).
