Editing Prores 4444 files in Sony Vegas Pro 14
Hello, I’m editing a short film in a few weeks. The film is going to be shot on an Arri Alexa SXT, shooting Prores 4444 files in anamorphic.
Will these files work on my version of Vegas, and on a PC? I understand I will not be able to renter TO Prores, I’m just wondering if anyone has experience using prores as source files. I imagine I’ll want to create proxies in Vegas if the files do successfully import.
Once I’ve done a rough edit, the project will be exported for editing in Premiere Pro.
