  • Editing One Track?

Posted by George Rowlands on October 1, 2013 at 10:45 am

    Hi,

Basically I am editing a video and want to remove some audio from a track but everytime I cut a bit from that track it removes that little bit from all 4 channels? How do I just edit that one track without it touching the other tracks?

    Cheers.

Press “U” and then delete. That will “ungroup” it from the rest of the events.

Use can also use Ignore Event Grouping (Ctrl+Shift+U) to temporarily ignore the group and just edit the audio, then press it again to keep the rest of the audio grouped while editing.
