  • Editing one audio track and not the other

The video I’m working on has two different audio tracks. How do I separate the two tracks so I can edit each independantly from the other? CMD L separates the video and audio, but the audio is not independant from each other.

I opened the audio tracks in Editor and can make the changes there, but I was wondering if there is a way to do it in FCP.

Go to Modify, and uncheck Stereo pair. Shortcut is option L.
