I have a thirty second tv commercial to cut, that was shot on the red camera, dual system. so everything is slated, and I have the audio files.

I’ve done extensive research on this, and since the workflow and the camera seems to always be changing, i figured i’d post.

I have an apple macbookpro, with 4 gigs of ram. and a nice monitor. it’s a local commercial its not like I am editing che here. (as much as I would have loved to) final cut studio 2, and all the red plugins installed.

I have all the files on a firewire800 hard drive.

waht is the best workflow)s_ to sync, cut, color correct, and then output them an HD file for broadcast?

thank you so much. any links or anything helpful would be fantastic

I would suggest reading the workflows Apple outlines in the whitepaper that is included with FCS2 Installer that you download from the RED support page on RED’s website.

I’d love to hear what you’re leaning towards after you read that.
