    Hi all,

I’m making text templates for someone else to overtype – I’ve three separate lines of text (as they wipe on with individual crops), arranged vertically, each on their own video layer.
When I double-click one of the layers to bring up the edit text box, the text line jumps down to the bottom e.g. if I double click what should be the top text layer (call it Text line 1), when the edit box opens up it’s sitting beneath Text lines 2 and 3 – its still over-typeable but I’m worried that it’s visually confusing.
Likewise if I click Text line 2, it too jumps to the bottom of the edit box (and weirdly leaves only Text line 3 also visible).
If I click Text line 3, again, jumps to the bottom and now no other text is visible.

My question is – is this normal behaviour for Premiere? I’m pretty much just learning it for this job so may be doing something wrong. I realise this may be a confusing description but if anyone can offer some insight / fix, I’d be very grateful.

    thanks.
