Ok, I am not sure about this. But i have a client that insists that they have footage with an extension .moov. Maybe this is the older version of .mov, or a HD version of quicktime. I will be editing either on Final cut 6 or Premier system. Anyone know if this is doable on either system?

I had a quick “google” and it seems moov files were from QT4 kind of era. You will likely have do do some searching for a codec to play them though.
Sorry cant be of more help but hopefully that points you i the right direction.

    best wishes

What happens if you remove one of the 0’s? Will it play?

QT can’t “export to” but still playing most legacy codec.
In case of problems, as suggested, change the extension or delete it.

PS: “.moov” sounds like a QT movie from the COW.
