    Greetings fellow forum friends,

I work in a film company. We are currently on a preproductional stage, aiming for a feature lenght high def dv film. I am still quite new to the HD scene so I was wondering if anyone with experience could guide me through it.

To begin with, can I use HDV(1080p24) in Final Cut Pro 6, with a Macbook Pro 2.16 (duo core) and 2GB RAM? As I am still very confused about the compression issues.

Also, are there any good Final Cut Pro related forums out there besides this one (not saying that CC is bad, have been a constant viewer of this website for years)?

    Best regards,
    – Felexion
