    Hi,

    I’ve tended to specialize in project managing and editing corporate video for conference and DVD so far. I’ve been approached by someone who has footage he wants editing into an hour long film to send to film festivals. As I have time to kill at the moment I’m thinking of taking him up on this. This project is entirely non profitable.

    I’m wondering if anyone has any tips that i need to bare in mind for this transition from fairly straight, corporate video into editing for film.

    All the footage has been shot on to miniDV. I’ll be editing in final cut.
