    Im no real expert, but i would assume it would depend on how the footage was captured, i’e DV or HDV etc. Plus how powerful your machine is. Only way to know for sure is to test.

    With a fast enough machine and fast hard drives, you’ll be able to flip the shot in realtime for editing, but then you will need to render it for output to tape.
