Whenever I take a track on the timeline and tell it to ‘reveal in editor’ SOundtrack Pro pops up with the waveform and then I get some really awful feedback and can’t get anything done. Can anyone help? I’m running my audio through an AJA Kona BOB, could that be the problem?

Give more info. You are running audio out of FCP and and is StPro set up to output your vid and aud through the Kona as well? Where does the audio from the BOB go? Is STPro set up to record and giving you the feedback loop? How is your system set up? If you turn off the STPro output preferences, does the feedback stop?
