editing FCP 6 project with FCP 7

You most likely won’t have any problem, but if at all possible you should complete the project in FCP6 before upgrading to FCP7.

If you do encounter problems exporting your sequences and bins and clips etc to xml (version 4) and importing into fcp 7 should sort you out.
