I need to edit a DVD content in Final Cut.
I exported it tp .mov using “mpeg stream clip” but the result of that has no sync. I’ve tried some different configurations, but the problem didn’t change.
    What could I do?

    thanks

Describe what you did in more detail. What codec did you export to for use in FCP?

I don’t know if all these informations are enough for you,
    but here they are:

    Compression: Apple Motion JPEG A
Sound: Uncompressed / stereo / auto

    Frame size: 640 X 480 (4:3)

    Interface scalling
    Reinterlace chroma

    Field Dominance: upper field first
    Rotation: no

I don’t believe JPEG A is an edit codec. You should try with one of the codecs that appear in FCP’s Easy Setups. They are all edit codecs. A couple of codecs which should work are ProRes or DCVPro50 (DV50). Try one of those and see if it works better for you.

    John,

I`ve tried your suggestions and some others,
but I yet didn`t get sync.
    Are there any other way?

    thanks
