  • Editing a single track of stereo sound in Premiere Pro CS5

Hi, I have some stereo sound clips with different information in the left and right channels due to separation in production. (for example, left track recorded sounds coming from BOOM mic whilst right track recorded sounds from lavaliere mic.

I would like to lower the sound in one track whilst keeping sound prominent in the other track every so often, how can this be achieved through Premiere Pro?

Select clip in the Project Window then go to Clip/Audio Options/Breakout to Mono. Now you have a seperate left and right channel.
