editing a music video problem
hello guys,
um new in editing music videos and i want to know the main workflow in editing a music video (i have premiere cs3 )
what i have now is basically 23 shots of people dancing and a singer singing parts of the song , and one master track of the song
what should i begin with ?i know it’s a very wide question but um totally lost in editing such a simple music video

That is a very broad question, and there is not really one specific right answer.
If it were me, I would lay in the master audio track and then sync up the video clips of the singer singing the song. You’ll be left with your dancing shots now, so start seeing what works for particular parts of the song. I’m assuming this won’t be effects heavy, so at this point it should be kind of like putting together a puzzle; move clips around to until they look good with the music.
That’s just my broad suggestion on how to approach it. Sometimes you just need to dive in and see what works.
