I am surprised that when I imported a ,mov movie into vegas 9 all it displayed was nothing intelligible. Is that right? Vegas doesn’t edit .mov? Maybe there is a way? Can someone help. I don’t want Nero, I am trying to learn Vegas 9

You need to have the correct version of Quicktime installed. If the current version does not work, try installing an older version.

What does iTunes have to do with Vegas editing? I didn’t know that iTunes had anything to do with vegas 9 editing. I could probably upload to youtube and edit there or do it in Nero as all I want to do is trim the length but I paid big bucks for Vegas 9 and like what I understand. have a nice day

When you update iTunes, it also automatically updates QuickTime and this is the problem.
If you’re not running at least Vegas Pro 9.0d, you can no longer successfully import .mov or .mp4 files.

So I’m stuck huh? That’s a bummer. Someone said to install an earlier version. Finding it is a problem

Doyal, just get the newest version of QT from Apple. It doesn’t cost you anything. Free download. Just do it. We all did.
