    Hey Guys!

I’m editing a short that is now taking place on a laptop screen (the original concept involve this so I’m figuring it out in post). I know the main video footage will now be playing on the Adobe Lightroom application (I’ll film the laptop screen with a green screen in Adobe Lightroom and I’ll add the footage in after a round of filming the laptop screen itself), but does anyone know how I can mimic notifications? I want to have control over the email notifications (Apple computer). I want to have some spam e-mails come in and I don’t think having friends send emails in realtime will work as it shows the email signature in those notifications.

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it!

    Hey Matt,

“Mimic” – you could either shoot the notifications with a green background, if possible?

Or rotoscope (mask around them), and then composit on top of your insert picture on the screen.

Do keep in mind that if you are looking for a general release of your short, to watch out if you are using Apple I/P / Design outside their guidelines.
Where as you may be better of doing something that looks and sounds like, but isn’t a recording or exact copy of their notifications.

    Hope this answers your question?
