Editing a 30.00 fps file – render options?
Several of my clients are now using webinar apps to “pre-record” sessions that need minor editing. The files are true 30 fps (NOT 29.97). Vegas 15 Pro does not seem to have any output settings at 30.00 – should I just select 29.97 and tick the “allow source to adjust frame rate” box in the customize template window? Thanks!

When you do the Match Settings to Media, does your Project show 30fps?

Yes – I match the media file when I set up the project, and it shows 30.000p as the frame rate.

Good! It’s good to be picky with this stuff so now let’s be doubly sure by getting the MediaInfo through MediaInfo.

I opened VP15. I made a Generated Media 30fps Project. Yes I NEEDED to create a 30fps Render To Template. I rendereed this out and confirmed its status through MediaInfo.
