Editing 5.1 audio in Vegas
I’m authoring a DVD and want to use clips of the 5.1 audio from the feature on the menus I’ve created. However I don’t know how to edit the stream and ensure it retains all six channels. Is this possible in Vegas? I have a raw .ac3 file plus have ripped the audio as a .VOB file from a check disc, which I can import into Vegas but it appears to mix down to stereo once it is brought into the time line.
Any suggestion?

Unfortunately,though you can render your audio in AC-3, you cannot edit AC-3 files on the Vegas timeline.
