    Hello,

I’m working on a project for my company and I need some guidance.

This is what i need to do: a DVD to which I have to insert in the video ppt slides, to add subtitles and a voice dub. In the final product, the subtitles and the voice dub need to come as an option. I think Vegas 6 is the program that I’ll work on. Do you recommend other program(s)?

Please, can you help me with some instructions on how this can be done. For example how can I get the video from the DVD into Vegas and not to loose the quality?

I appreciate any help. THank you

You can’t. You’ve already lost quality by encoding to MPEG2. With Vegas 6.0c, you can simply do a File – Import – DVD Camcorder Disc to get it back in.

As for the PPT slides, convert them to images and simply import them on the timeline.

    Hi jeditdv.
Do Vegas 6 convert the DVD files to DV. Or do it use another codec.
is there more info on this issue on the web?

It uses the video as-is. If you want to convert it to DV, you’ll have to manually render it to DV.
