I am over at a company that is using FCP6 and I have only used 6 once before. Was wondering if anybody else is experiencing incredibly long waiting times for the Edit To Tape window to open up (or to do anything with Edit To Tape)? I don’t know if it is just a matter of trashing prefs, or if this was a 6.0 thing. Gonna trash em anyhow, just wanted to check.

Just used it a couple of hours ago and it works fine here.

I’d trash the prefs and restart FCP. This usually fixes these kinds of issues.

I an having this same problem. Clicking on anything in Edit to tape starts the beach ball for around 15 seconds. It seems to be related to RS422 serial port issue using a Kona LHe. Firewire is OK.
