Edit to Tape in FC7, Blacking Tape can’t select Drop Frame Checkbox
When I try and black a tape, either through Firewire or through the Kona LHe, I cannot select the drop frame checkbox when I enter my starting timecode. When I manually enter a starting timecode in drop frame 58:00;02, Final Cut automatically changes it to 58:00:00.
My sequence is in drop frame, and my device control preset is set to drop frame.
I’ve trashed the preferences, and I’ve re-installed Final Cut as well. The problem persists.
Any ideas out there? Thanks for your help!

What frame rate are you dealing with? 23.98? 29.97?

Mac Pro 2.66ghz, OSX 10.4.8, FCP 5.1.2

720p has to be 59.94 in order to be drop frame.
