Edit To Tape audio issue
Hi,
Is there an option in FCP to do a Direct Out – like you can in an Avid so that when I lay things off to tape the audio doesn’t mix into two tracks?

You have to set up an Audio output (for say 4 mono channels) in User Prefernces, then patch each track to the channel you want it to be output to.
Patch by Right Clicking just off the A1, A2 buttons.
