Activity Forums Adobe After Effects edit paint brush path or convert it to beiser curve

    interesting challenge. why wouldn’t you just re-paint the stroke all over again? you can’t directly edit the path of your brush paint stroke like you do a mask or shape path. but since it’s a path, you can copy it to a mask path and edit it as mask path and extract bezier handles to vertices, and when you are done – copy paste back to the brush path

    you can even link the two via expression and keep Ae mask or shape editing capabilities with the brush paint workflow for whatever reason. maybe you are better off using the stroke effect if you want to manually edit the brush paths and dismiss paint brush for this one.

    Hi Roei, thanks for the answer, exactly what I needed.

    Im using the brush stroke as path to follow, and sometimes the strokes are long so its pretty wasting of time to draw them all over again.
